Show me the money! For our February attendance incentive, four community partners are sponsoring an attendance incentive to give away $100 at each school. Every student with perfect attendance for each of the four weeks prior to the end of February will earn an entry into a drawing for their school to win a Valentine’s Day inspired cash bouquet of roses worth $100 sponsored by our community partners. This allows each child to earn up to four entries (1 each week of February) before the drawing. The winning student must be in attendance on the day of the drawing to win. Our sponsors for the February incentive are Albany Flowers and Gifts/Roberts Pharmacy, City Florist, The Fig Leaf/Toy Store, and Huff Farms (Bobby and Patricia Huff)!

CCMS 6th Grade will be hosting the Health Department for their Positive Potential Program in their Social Studies classes the week of 3/2 (orginially scheduled for 2/9). Topics discussed in the program are age-appropriate. Any questions regarding the curriculum can be addressed with the Principal.

This form will be used a permission slip for parents to complete in order for their child to participate in the Health Department's program.

We need all parents to complete whether you want your child to participate or not. Any student who does participate will continue to work on their classwork as normal.

🍀🌈 March Attendance: Pot of Gold Challenge! 🌈🍀 Get ready for a month full of fun, prizes, and school spirit! During March, students will have the chance to “find the pot of gold” by showing up and participating in our attendance challenge. ✨ Find Lucky’s Hidden Tokens • Hidden tokens will be placed around each school Monday–Friday. • Find a token and turn it in to win a prize! • Ten tokens will be hidden each day. 🏆 Weekly Perfect Attendance Drawing Students with perfect attendance will be entered into a weekly drawing for our “Pot of Gold Prize Package.” One lucky winner will be selected each week! 🎉 Schoolwide Challenge If your school reaches 94% attendance or higher for an entire week, your principal will dress up like a LEPRECHAUN! 🍀 Let’s work together to make March a lucky month for attendance. Show up, participate, and you might just find your pot of gold! 🌟

CCHS Project Graduation is selling tickets for the Project Graduation Gift Card Board (over $400 value) Tuesday and Friday night at the District games. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. The Gift Card Board will be given away at the game Friday night.

The Spring planning meeting for the Title I event will be Wednesday, March 4th, at 3:00 in the library. See you there!

CCMS will celebrate Read Across America Week next week. Here are the spirit themes for each day. We encourage all to participate!

Clinton County Schools will be closed today, Monday, February 23rd, due road conditions. This will be a traditional snow day.

Mr. Jordan Fillingham, Mrs. Ashley Hardin, Mrs. Cassandra Guffey, and Mrs. Stacey Evans shared their experiences with the Deeper Learning grant with several other school leaders at GRREC in Bowling Green.

CCMS afterschool services are cancelled today, February 19th! We will resume Tuesday, February 24th!

Spring Pictures have been cancelled for this Friday, and may be rescheduled at a later date.

MS Baseball Tryouts will be held on Tuesday, 2/17, after school until 5:00 p.m.

The 8th grade Sources of Strength Students and BETA Students traveled to ECC today to teach a lesson on kindness to kick off our district-wide Kindness Week. The 8th Grade Mentors reviewed a story with students, played games relating to kindness, gave out kindness treats, and finished the lesson off with a special craft. Students of all ages enjoyed today's activities.

The Clinton County Middle School Academic Team competed in the Region Governor’s Cup at Green County on Saturday. The Quick Recall team placed 4th and received the Katherine Hume Sportsmanship Award. 🏆💙🐾

Progress Reports for the 3rd Term will be sent home with students on Monday. We were planning to send them home today, but were not able to get them distributed.

With Valentine’s Day occurring this weekend, some students could receive gifts at school on Friday. Please note that balloons and glass vases are not allowed on school buses. Students carrying these items will not be permitted to board the bus. Please plan accordingly.

We will be celebrating Kindness Week February 16th-20th. We encourage all of our students to participate in the spirit themes each day!
