On Tuesday, our 6th grade students were able to attend the UNITE Youth Rally held at the Center for Rural Development in Somerset. With over 800 students in attendance from our region, students heard from Unite staff, Senator Rick Girdler, Senator Scott Madon, and a representative from Congressman Hal Rogers’ office. Students learned about dangers of vaping and the importance of making good choices!

Today, KY celebrates High Attendance Day! The first event at CCMS today, students were randomly selected from a wheel to win: a hat pass, a homework pass, a VIP lunch, and a VIP gaming! Next, students were randomly selected to get to slime Mr. Fillingham. Finally, in the spirit of celebrating, we gave any teacher that wanted to give him a slime, to come down and try their hand! Great fun! Great prizes! Attendance matters!!! Stay tuned for more High Attendance fun!!
