Congratulations to Mrs. Casey Melton and her STEM class for securing a classroom grant from American Woodmark to purchase Chompsaw Power Tools to be used in the STEM Lab. Students in 7th grade science tried to beat the clock and escape during class today. Puzzles focused on potential and kinetic energy as well as energy transformations! ⚗️🎢

Today our 6th graders modeled how Earth’s surface breaks down over time through weathering! Using antacid tablets to represent rocks, students observed how water and movement can cause materials to slowly break apart — just like natural processes on Earth. 🌧️💨💦
