Clinton County School District is proud to announce that Clinton County Middle School and Clinton County High School are 2024-2025 National Beta Schools of Merit. These schools earned this recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades on their campuses.
The National Beta School of Merit award is given to honor a club’s dedication and commitment to academic excellence. To achieve this prestigious honor, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels in their Beta club. This year 5,930 Beta Clubs across the country received this award.
In a congratulatory letter to the school, Bobby Hart, CEO said “Thank you for your continued support of National Beta and commitment to developing future leaders!”
Amanda Mills, Beta Club Sponsor said, “This is a huge accomplishment for our school! We are in the process of inducting members from grade levels 6-12 in both the middle and high schools for the 2025-2026 school year. Beta Club promotes leadership, inspires academic excellence and fosters a spirit of service that will leave a lasting impact on our community. I am proud and honored to serve as sponsor to this great group of students!”
With more than 500,000 active members and 14,000 clubs nationally and internationally, National Beta has become the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. National Beta recognizes outstanding achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, and fosters leadership skills. Our Golf Dawgs fell short today against Barren County at 76 Falls Golf Course, but the team continues to grow and learn with each match.

CCMS Softball Schedule 🥎
Clinton County PTA will be having their first PTA meeting of the 25-26 school year on Monday, August 18th at 5:00 PM in the CCMS cafeteria. They will be discussing events for the year at all schools. This is a great way to be part of events happening at your child's school. Parents of 4th Graders are encouraged to attend to discuss plans for the 4th Grade BASH!
The Drama Dept. will be holding auditions for their upcoming Christmas production. See below:
Grades 5th and 6th will be on Monday, August 18th, beginning at 4:00 pm.
Grades 7th and 8th will be on Tuesday, August 19t,h beginning at 3:00 pm.
Makeups will be on Wednesday, August 20th at 4:00 pm
All at the Learning Center Auditorium.
Students will need to have a poem of any length prepared to recite (must be memorized). Be prepared to sing "Happy Birthday."
